Dear, friends of Scattered People.
It has been a roller coaster ride to say the least. We are in good company, with so many events, tours and other organisations pivoting, postponing and running the Covid gauntlet. We’ve had a few lockdown hiccups; however, we are excited that these will all be rescheduled. So, if you are in Sydney, Melbourne or regional NSW, we will update you very soon on the new dates.
The rest of our screening events have been amazing. We’ve had sold out houses, engaged and passionate audiences, generous musicians and panellists, funds raised and ongoing conversations and actions on the issues at hand. Everything we had hoped for!
We have many more screenings on the calendar through July, August and into October, as well as a swathe more in progress. Please see the website for screenings in the coming days and weeks.
Here’s some of what our audiences had to say so far:
Incredibly moved… by a raw, moving but beautiful film and the power of music.
An inspirational film filled with truth, pain, love and hope.
Beautiful, poignant, disturbing in its truth and yet so inspiring… to be better, do better… be kinder, and actively seek justice, especially for those who do not have a voice. Thank you.

We are also full of love and gratitude for all of you, wonderful generous people, who have supported us along the way in this long journey. Here’s what Michael Franti had to say in a little behind-the-scenes snippet during production.
